Our mission at Beech Grove is to make disciples who glorify and enjoy Jesus. We would love for you to join us in that mission.
If you visit Beech Grove for Sunday morning worship, hopefully you will notice four things:
- We stand on the truth. At Beech Grove, the Scripture is our standard and our solution. We believe that the Bible is inspired, inerrant and sufficient. In our services you will see a commitment to the public reading of Scripture and to the preaching of Scripture. We are also committed to expository preaching, which means that on most Sundays we are walking verse by verse through a book of the Bible with the goal that the main point of the sermon is the main point of that day's passage.
- We go hard after God in worship. As a church, we delight in the presence of God and want to be worshipers in Spirit and Truth. We are really passionate about corporate prayer, congregational singing, cheerful giving and celebrating the Lord's Supper (every first Sunday of the month).
- We are a loving community. We believe that following Jesus shouldn't happen alone, mainly because of all the "one another" commands in the New Testament. Therefore, our desire is to love one another as Christ loved us. To pursue this, we meet in small groups at 9:15am on Sundays that are focused on studying the Bible, building relationships, and praying together. By God's grace we are seeking to be a church that is full of encouragement, honesty, hospitality, and friendships.
- We are on mission. Our church exists to solve the world's biggest problem: lostness. Truly, our hearts are broken for those far from Christ and we believe that a sinner's only hope before a holy God is the gospel of Jesus Christ. Therefore, we are passionate about evangelism, discipleship, and local/international missions.
Our desire is to become a church that is abundantly fruitful in growing and multiplying disciples. We would love for you to come and be a part of that vision!
