BG Kids Sunday Mornings

At BG Kids, our Sunday morning programs are designed to help children Birth–5th Grade learn foundational truths of the gospel through age-appropriate Bible teaching, small groups, worship, prayer, and fun activities. Our desire is to partner with families as children learn who God is, understand His Word, and grow in their relationship with Jesus.

Birth–4 Years

Our youngest children are divided into age-appropriate classes where they can learn and grow in a safe, loving environment. Children remain in their classroom during both the 9:15 AM and 10:30 AM hours, with Bible teaching and activities designed especially for their stage of development.

Kindergarten–5th Grade

At 9:15 AM, Kindergarten–5th Grade students begin together in a large-group setting with a special focus on prayer and worship. We want kids to learn not only about God, but also how to talk with Him, worship Him, and make these practices a regular part of their lives.

At 10:30 AM, students break into age-appropriate small groups where we use The Gospel Project to walk through the Bible chronologically. Kids discover how the entire Bible tells one big story and how every part points to God's plan of redemption through Jesus.

Family Worship Sundays

On the 1st and 5th Sundays of each month, Kindergarten–5th Grade students join their families for the 10:30 AM worship service instead of attending their regular small groups.

We believe children need opportunities to worship alongside the larger church family. Family Worship Sundays allow kids to see their parents and other adults worship, pray, read Scripture, give, and hear God's Word together. These shared experiences help children understand that they are an important part of the church—not just the children's ministry—and help families build rhythms of worship that can continue at home.
