Kids in Kindergarten–5th grade are invited to join us this summer for four exciting Kids  Day Out experiences—including Dart Battle, Bowling, the Zoo, and MetCalf Bottoms!

Each outing will also include time for lunch and ice cream, making it a full day of fun and connection.

In addition to our outings, kids will have opportunities to serve through mission crafts and a special visit to a local nursing facility, where they can encourage and bless others.

Here are some answers to common questions.

Kid Day Out is a great way for kids to stay connected throughout the summer! Each outing gives them the opportunity to build friendships with others from church through fun activities and meaningful mission opportunities.

Our mission activities may include visiting a nursing home to spend time with residents or visiting homebound church members, where kids may play bells, sing, and share encouragement.

These outings are designed for students in Kindergarten-5th grade.
Younger children are welcome, but a parent must attend with them.

Children must exhibit good behavior during regular BG Kids Sunday and Wednesday night services, as well as during all church activities, in order to participate in Kids Day Out.
If behavior becomes a concern, the Children’s Director will communicate with parents to determine next steps.

Yes! Parents are always welcome to join us, but it is not required for Kindergarten–5th graders.
Parents who attend will need to follow or meet us at the destination in their own vehicle and will be responsible for any required tickets or fees.

Each outing will have a minimum of two adult chaperones to ensure safety and supervision.

The Children’s Director will drive the church’s 16-passenger van for transportation.

Drop-off and pick-up will take place at the Kids entrance of the church at the scheduled times.
If there are any delays, you will receive a text update from the Children’s Director.
